Public Records

The following public record indices are available to search online via our self-service and select for purchase:

• Official Records - Real Property
• Fish & Wildlife Notices and Postings
• Fictitious Business Name Statements (FBN)

To obtain a certified or regular copy of a public record, please visit the Forms section and select from our available service options.

Non-Public Records

The following records are not searchable to the public but may be purchased as Authorized Certified Copies or Informational copies online, self-service, or by printable form and mail-in request:

• Birth
• Death
• Marriage
• Military Discharge

Dissolution of Marriage records are kept with the Yolo County Superior Court, Civil Division. Call 530-406-6704 for more information.

***NOTE: Please ensure your delivery location is secure and accessible as once an order is processed and handed to the shipping carrier responsibility transfers to the customer. The County is not liable for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered packages. If a package does not arrive within the expected timeframe, we cannot offer replacements or refunds; a new order must be placed.
