Official Records & Searches

Certified and regular copies of real property records are available for search and purchase through our "Official Records Search and Copies" service in the Self-Service Online Queue. These records can be located using grantor and/or grantee names, document number, document type, or recording date. Public records may also be searched at our kiosk and microfilm machine available at our office lobby.

Customers wishing to place an order online must find the record in our public indices, add it to the cart, and supply a "Requestor Name." Payment is not processed online. Instead, customers should call our office at 530-666-8130 to provide credit card details for payment. Certified copies are mailed to the requester, while regular copies can be sent via email as a PDF, subject to additional fees.

The County is not liable for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered packages. If a package does not arrive within the expected timeframe, we cannot offer replacements or refunds; a new order must be placed.
